| Paperclip Agency has
vacancies for students on a regular basis. This vacancies are for students who do some fieldwork as part of their study, and for students who want to write their thesis about subjects related to the work of Paperclip Agency, in combination with some practical work. In a small company as Paperclip Agency, it gives the student the opportunity to get to know about all aspects of an agency and of running your own company. In Dutch this period is called 'stage', the closest matching words in English are internship or traineeship. The student should work at Paperclip Agency for at least 6 months, for 32-40 hours a week. Knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing is a must, as well as being able to work with MS Word and Excell (and Outlook). Her/his interest in alternative music makes it easy to communicate, and experience in the alternative live-music world is a pré. Communicative skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work independently are also important skills. Paperclip Agency can offer a workplace in an informal but structured workenvironment in a nice atmosphere. Students are able to get to know about all aspects of the work of an agent. The activities of the student will be discussed and agreed upon mutually, depending on the length of the 'stage' and on the personal interest of the student. Some light administrative work will be part of it, but the main part is often taken by tasks as independently booking bands in the Netherlands, working on a research, etc. In the past
